Community Involvement
- Member, Lake County Regional Board of School Trustees, elected in November 1995.
The Lake County Regional School Board hears cases and petitions related to school boundary issues. The impact on the children, and on the school districts, affected by the requests brought before the board are of primary importance in our decisions.
- Volunteer Mediator, Center for Conflict Resolution,
Chicago – 7 years. With more than 80 hours of mediation training, I have mediated neighbor, family, landlord-tenant, business, court-referred misdemeanor, juvenile cases. and employment discrimination cases for the Illinois Department of Human Rights.

Coordinated and arranged for teen stage entertainment in addition to
assisting with many other activities

- Volunteer, Buffalo Grove Emergency Services & Disaster Agency
(Recipient of a Letter of Commendation
from the President of the Village of Buffalo Grove for volunteer work in 2000).
Professional Experience
My professional experience is primarily focused on business transactions including contract negotiations, technology issues & regulatory compliance.
I currently serve as Senior Counsel to Trans Union LLC.
My prior business and legal experience includes positions with Rockwell Electronic Commerce Corporation, a subsidiary of Rockwell International; the Gas Research Institute, an
nonprofit research company; and International Business Machines.
